International Surfing Day is this Sunday, but in an unusual twist on Humboldt time, we're getting a jump on it early.
Join us at Moonstone Beach on Saturday!
Six years ago, the Surfrider Foundation and SURFING Magazine felt the surf world was missing something. A day to encourage all surfers to do a few, simple things: paddle out, catch a wave, spread ocean awareness and clean their beaches.
We'll be meeting at Moonstone Beach to do just that, weather permitted of course. The clean-up will take place from 10 a.m. - noon, so come earlier or stay late to ride some waves. As usual, we'll provide the clean-up gear.
