If you've been contemplating spending this Saturday morning helping to clean Mad River Beach, the Tobacco Education Network has offered an incentive. Come on down and help save the ocean's creatures by collecting trash and the Network people will send you home with an über-cool t-shirt.
Meet us at Mad River Beach at 10:00 am. We'll have bags for paper, butts and plastic trash as well as rakes and magnets to clear nails from firepits. I promise that, after you've filled a 5-gallon bucket with old nails, never again will you burn pallets on the beach.
