Meet us at 9 a.m. this Saturday, September 17, at the north jetty (I know it's early but it will give you plenty of time to spend at the North Country Fair) to help clean up our beach as part of the Coastal Conservancy's Coastal Cleanup aiming for trash-free seas. We'll provide the bags, pickers, magnets (you wouldn't believe the NAILS!)...you provide...YOU. Walk on the beach and pick up trash.
We pick up trash on Saturday so it will be nice and tidy for Sunday's Surf4Peace competition. That event starts at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 18. Be sure to pack your trash after that event so we don't have to do this again for awhile and our friends in the sea can enjoy a world without garbage floating around.
