This month, Leandra Lopez, Scientific Aid for the MPA Outreach Coordinator for California Dept of Fish and Wildlife, will have a presentation about Marine Protected Areas titled: “Four Marine Protected Areas that are making waves across a Network.”

California is home to a number of coastal treasures, including a network of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). Join us for a presentation that explores four places from across the state with California’s most iconic Marine Protected Areas: Pyramid Point, Farallon Islands, Point Lobos, and La Jolla. The presentation will dive into the evolving stories of these special places and why we protect them.
