Virtual Volunteer & Member Meeting
You’re invited to Surfrider Humboldt’s first chapter meeting of 2022! Log into Google Meet on February 24th at 6pm to learn more about what your local chapter is up to and how YOU can get involved. This is your chance to find out about upcoming volunteer opportunities, weigh in on our annual project and policy plans, and vote for the 2022 Executive Committee. Now is a great time to get involved with your local Surfrider chapter!
Executive Committee Vacancies
Have you ever considered joining the Humboldt Chapter Executive Committee? We’re in search of dedicated individuals to join the team this year. There are currently 4* open positions:
- Secretary
- Beach Cleanup Coordinator
- Ocean Friendly Restaurants Coordinator
- Ocean Night Coordinator
These positions require a basic commitment of 1-2 hours per week through the end of 2022. Please reach out via email if you’re interested or if you have any questions about specific roles and responsibilities. No experience necessary, but dedication to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches is a must!
