Trail Work Day at Houda Point! Volunteers Needed!

Please mark your calanders for Saturday Sept. 29th as the BLM is sponsoring a huge trail work / ivy pull day at Houda Point and Luffenholtz in celebration of National Public Lands Day. 

Where: Luffenholtz County Park, north of Houda Point and south of Trinidad on Scenic Drive.

Directions: From Eureka, 101 N to the Westhaven exit. Left at the stop sign. Go under freeway bridge and left to Moonstone Grill parking area to catch the shuttle to the project site. Signs and volunteers will be there to assist.

When: September 29th, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

What to wear: Close toed shoes or boots and a long sleeved shirt.

What to bring: Water, hat, sunscreen, jacket and gloves.

Lunch will be provided. The first 40 volunteers will receive a National Public Lands Day t-shirt.Parking is limited. Please carpool when possible.
