On Saturday, Mar. 19 a public beach clean up will be held to remove tsunami debris from affected beach areas.
Volunteers are needed and are asked to meet at 1 p.m. at the Crescent CityWastewater Treatment Facility located at 210 Battery Street in Crescent City.
Please wear appropriate clothing for the event such as boots, gloves, and raingear. Trash bags will be provided.
All volunteers must register on the day of the event at the Treatment Facility and be sworn in as a Volunteer Disaster Servicer Worker. Persons under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult and have parental consent.
